Fonfara Added To Next 8 Count Bill November 16

Chicago favorite Andrzej Fonfara returns to the ring on Friday, November 16 as he faces Dave Saunders at Cicero Stadium in a six round junior middleweight bout, it was announced today by Dominic Pesoli, President of 8 Count Productions..

The 20 year old Fonfara brings a record of 7-1 (2) into battle with Saunders. Most recently Fonfara treated his growing legion of Chicago fans to an outstanding boxing display with a six round decision over Luis Hodge on September 17 at Chicago’s Congress Theater.

Said Pesoli about Fonfara, “He’s getting better each time out and has brought a real sense of electricity to our shows with his enthusiastic fans. Saunders is a hard punching veteran and this should be another very solid test for Andrzej.”

The heavy handed Saunders, 9-3 (6), from Cincinnati, Ohio has won five of his battles by knockout in the first two rounds.
