Risum Boxing: Poulsen And Nasir Headline February 4 Show On Danish TV
Risum Boxing and Larsen Boxing today announced a new cooperation that will see super featherweight Kim â€Golden Boy†Poulsen (6-1, 1 KO) and super middleweight Fawaz Nasir (11-2, 6 KOs) enter the ring for six round bouts against opponents TBA on February 9 at the Mediacentre in Aabybro, Denmark.
The show will be aired live by Danish TV channel DK4.
While Poulsen is very much still in a learning process and will be looking to gain more experience before being tested at deeper waters, Nasir is aiming at another title-opportunity after two failed attempts in 2007, and he hopes the bout in Aabybro will serve as his return to winning ways and a step towards bigger things.
Nasir has fought several times on Danish TV, but for Poulsen it will be his TV debut in Denmark as a professional, and he is looking forward to the opportunity to shine, saying: “I think a lot of people will be surprised when they see the style of boxing I have acquired since turning professional.
“It is very different from how I boxed as an amateur, and I am looking forward to showing off the great work my trainer (Brian Mathiasen) has done with me over the last 18 months.
