Larios-Guzman Done.

This year, we will see an exciting super bantamweight unification fight between WBC champion Oscar Larios and WBO champion Joan Guzman. The fight will take place in El Paso, Texas on April 9. The announcement of this fight seems somewhat presumptuous, given that Larios has yet to defeat Irishman Wayne McCullough in his latest defense of the title. However, If Larios is victorious and can fight the unification bout against Guzman, the fight will provide a fitting return to Marco Antonio Barrera’s first fight since defeating Erik Morales for the WBC-IBF super featherweight titles in November of last year. Barrera is tentatively scheduled to face mandatory opponent Mzonke Fana of South Africa.

We will keep you updated to further developments.
