Former WBC super middleweight champion Robin Reid returned to action tonight in England for the first time since beating former undefeated Irishman Brian Magee. “Grim Reaper” Reid currently sports a record of thirty-eight wins against four losses, the thirty-eighth win of which came against Ramdane Serdjane, a fighter with only one more wins than losses on his record. Reid has proved to be a frustrating fighter to watch in the past, sometimes exciting and hard-hitting while at others, he retreats into a shell and seems disinterested. Having beaten Magee, Reid should be in a position to fight an even more ecognizable name. However, it is Magee who has received the chance to fight Joe Calzaghe; Reid was narrowly beaten by Calzaghe when they fought several years ago. Stay tuned for more on Reid’s progress as it develops.
