British Boxing Prospect Siddique Sees June 20 Fight Rescheduled

Bradford’s very own Nadeem “The Goldenboy” Siddique has promised to make it up to his fans when he finally gets in the ring with Canadian Julius Odion.

Hennessy Sports in association with GoldenPalace.net regrettably announce that Julius Odion has been unable to obtain his visa in time to appear on the “Battle of the Midlands” show on Friday, June 20.

The fight has now be rescheduled and Siddique will square off against Odion at the Robin Park Arena, Wigan as chief support to the vacant British Lightweight title fight between Lee Meager and John Murray on July 11, which will be screened live on Sky Sports.

“I’m so frustrated this has happened but that’s boxing and we all know these things can happen, the opportunity to replace Odion was offered to a number of fighters but there were no takers,” said Siddique.

“I love being involved in big fights and can’t wait for my chance to show Odion and my fans what I am capable of.

“I would like to take this opportunity to apologise to all who have purchased tickets and I promise I will make the wait worth their while and put on an exciting show for them on the 11th July.”

Hennessy Sports would like to inform all of Nadeem’s fans, tickets purchased will be valid for the event in Wigan on the July 11.
Tickets will need to be exchanged at the VIP desk on the night.
