Commonwealth Middleweight Champion “Dazzling” Darren Barker will come face to face with challenger Larry Sharpe for the first time when the two meet for a press conference this coming Wednesday at River Cree Casino in Enoch, Alberta.
Barker, 17-0 (11), will put his belt on the line for the second time following his title winning effort against Australia’s previously unbeaten Ben Crampton last November, but the 26 year old from the Harrow section of London has never fought outside his native England.
