Gifted Hungarian Prospect Gabor Veto Head To America For Pro Career

ByBoxing Press 20/01/2009

Hungarian Gábor Vető is a gifted young boxer and star in the making. He has been a member of the Hungarian national amateur team and will be making his pro-debut in February 2009.

Vető has waged a very successful amateur career having fought in many EABA tournaments in several countries clocking up more than 70 amateur fights.

His highlights include competing at the 2007 Junior European Championships in Sombor, Serbia and at the 2008 European Union Championships in Cetniewo, Poland, each time in the featherweight division.

When Gábor turns professional, an equally successful pro-career is anticipated. He will be trained for his US-fights by Mark Breland, the 1984 Olympic Champion and two time World Champion at the world famous Gleason’s gym in Brooklyn, New York.

Under the careful guidance of his manager, Oliver Dütschler, Gábor s career has been mapped out. He will be campaigning in the US with the support of Optimum Sports Agency and also around the world.

His sights are firmly set on challenging for the IBF World Youth Title in his hom etown Varpalota, Hungary in the summer of 2010.
