Bakary Samake and Ermal Hadribeaj Both Make Weight for Oberhausen Eliminator
The talking is nearly over for Bakary Samake and Ermal Hadribeaj after both unbeaten super welterweights successfully made weight ahead of Saturday’s WBC eliminator in Oberhausen, Germany.
Hadribeaj came in at 69.3 kilograms, while Samake was slightly lighter at 69.2 kilograms for the scheduled 12-round main event.
Considering how much confidence has been coming from both camps all week, there was always a chance the weigh-in could get tense, but both fighters looked locked in and ready to go. Samake in particular has carried himself like a man expecting a breakout performance.
The fight was originally supposed to headline a major Paris card before the event collapsed, but the matchup survived the chaos and now lands in Germany with world title implications attached.
Badien Hasso and Victor Correa Ramos Ready for Light Heavyweight Clash
Badien Hasso weighed 79.3 kilograms for his vacant WBC International Light Heavyweight title fight against unbeaten Spaniard Victor Vicente Correa Ramos, who came in at 78.3 kilograms.
It’s one of the more interesting fights on the card outside the main event, mainly because neither man has shown much interest in protecting an unbeaten record carefully.
Title Fight Weights Confirmed
Luis Vela officially weighed 63.5 kilograms, while Oussama Kebdani registered 63 kilograms for their WBC International super lightweight title fight.
In the super featherweight division, Muhamet Qamili came in at 58.8 kilograms and Alessangel Mayora weighed 57.4 kilograms ahead of their WBC International Silver title clash.
The heavyweight matchup between Mourad Aliev and Raphael Akpejiori also cleared the scales without issues. Aliev weighed 118.1 kilograms, while Akpejiori came in heavier at 124 kilograms for their WBC International Silver Heavyweight title fight.
