  • Hughie Fury Gets Aguilera For WBC International Belt March 26

    Undefeated heavyweight star Hughie Lewis Fury will tackle ‘Dominican Dynamite’ Nagy Aguilera for the vacant WBC International heavyweight title on Saturday, March 26 at The SSE Arena, Wembley, London, England.

    The scheduled 12-rounder, Fury’s first title fight, will be televised on Channel 5 and act as chief-support to the headlining British middleweight title clash between Nick ‘Bang Bang’ Blackwell and Chris Eubank Jr.

    Twenty-nine-year-old Aguilera has been a professional since 2007 and is a former USBA heavyweight title challenger. Born in the Dominican Republic, but now based in New York, rugged Aguilera has fought a number of top heavyweights over the years and time and time again more than held his own. (more…)

  • Ukrainian KO Artist Khytrov Added To This Saturday’s Showtime Boxing Show

    Unbeaten middleweight prospect Ievgen Khytrov (12-0, 11 KOs) takes on Alabama’s Kenneth McNeil (9-1, 6 KOs) in a 10-round bout that highlights an exciting undercard taking place this Saturday, March 5 from Sands Bethlehem Events Center in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania.

    The card features an exciting tripleheader of action live on Showtime at 10 p.m. ET/PT and is headlined by undefeated rising star Julian “J-Rock” Williams in an IBF eliminator for the top ranking at 154 pounds against Italy’s Marcello Matano.   • Crawford vs. Lundy WBO Title War Of Words Reaches Zenith

    Undefeated superstar champions Terence “Bud” Crawford and Felix “El Diamante” Verdejo will make their 2016 debuts in title defenses, this Saturday, February 27, at the “Mecca of Boxing”, The Theater at Madison Square Garden.

    British middleweight champion Nick ‘Bang Bang’ Blackwell has blasted Chris Eubank Jr. for posting on social media footage of himself knocking out a young sparring partner last week.

    The short video sparked heated debate and some condemnation when uploaded to Eubank Jr.’s social media accounts and Blackwell – who faces Eubank Jr. on March 26 at The SSE Arena – has branded his upcoming opponent a ‘bad role model’. (more…)

  • Khan Stops Quaye To Secure WBU Crown.

    On Saturday night, Great Britain’s Tasif Khan secured both the World Boxing Union (WBU) and Global Boxing Union (GBU) Super Flyweight Championships at the Cedar Court Hotel in his hometown of Bradford in the United Kingdom.

    Khan, who returned to the sport following a two year sabbatical just over twelve months ago, put in the performance of his career, in front of a packed house that included a number of British star boxers, such as interim WBA Lightweight Champion Derry Mathews and former British, Commonwealth, European and WBC Champion Junior Witter as well as various local dignitaries such as the Mayor of Bradford and local MP Imran Hussain.
