Thread: nasty and flabby J. Toney

i'm so sick of James Toney getting in the ring looking all out of shape. I mean hes has top 5 talent but needs to get rid of the ego and focus and getting the heavyweight title. Anyone think he'll be a undisputed heavyweight champion?

He'll never even pick up a belt, hes only gonna get fatter, older, and more out of shape from here.

Last performance was sad.......he just didn't condition himself properly.

for me its all about toneys next performance....if he comes in fat and fails to perform then thats pretty much it with toney for me...

the guy has been in the division for a long time now and to cultimate in that last performance was just poor....

toney needs to respect his body, the sport and the fans a little more....you cant coast and expect it to go all your own way, it just doesnt happen....

He is a disgrace, and how anyone can watch him is beyond me, and anyone PAYING to watch him, should be shot......

Why do people love someone, then hate them so quickly? Toney has been the man. Every since he one last fight with Rahman, now everyone wants to provide low-esteem about the man. Ok, he did come in fat and sloppy. Still, he got a Majority Draw.

Because he could have beat the crap out of Rahman if he lost 20 pounds, and he obviously made no attempt to.. Plus he's 38, that was pretty much his last chance to be the man at HW, which I think he was fully capable of doing if he had made the commitment to it after beating Holy, but obviously his work ethic is shit and has been for several years.

He still managed a draw against Rahman.

Imagine what he would have done when conditioned properly.

But i do agree, seein him coming into fights lookin like that does make me think what has the heavyweight division come to
