Guess who is fighting today (Saturday April 29) and has won fights in 4 decades? I doubt that you would have guessed it, Gianfranco Rosi:

The guy is 48 years old and has won his last 3 fights, although against weak opposition, to say the least. He was an outstanding boxer in the late 1980s and early 1990s. I remember his fights against "Schoolboy" Van Horn and Donald Curry. Those from England might remember his fight with Lloyd Honeyghan. I haven't the slightest idea why he's fighting now, but I thought maybe a few readers would be as bemused as I was to see his name on the fight card:

I always remember him, being considered a massive favourite against Honeyghan. But of course the victory over Curry, is what people quite rightly remember Lloyd for.

The first Van Horn fight, was a big upset, many people thought the 'Million Dollar Baby' was for real.
