yep got the fight on video. scary
I saw it when it happened. I guess that was Dan Dierdorf co-announcing the fight. He didn't last long as a boxing announcer.
Julian Jackson might have been the hardest hitting junior middleweight I ever saw. His defence wasn't always that great though, and some people would claim that Gerald McLellan hit harder, but as a middleweight.
When their careers were over, both Terry Norris and Julian Jackson earned themelves a place among the all time greats at 154 lbs.
wow
wasnt that fight on free tv in the states too?.im english and own the vid. i think it was abc commentaryOriginally Posted by mokele

A quote:
"He was named as ABC's blow by blow boxing commentator in 1989, beginning with Meldrick Taylor's first defense of his championship. Dierdorf stayed at ABC for twelve seasons before a shake up after the 1998 season."
Yep, I guess that was an ABC broadcast with Dierdorf.
Julian Jackson. Damn, could he hit.
That's just wrong....I was pulling for Terry.....wow..
It feels good to be back home.
It looked like Jackson was going for that one punch the entire time. Norris was lucky Julian didnt step back and load up another right hand.
