Thread: Hatton vrs cotto forget mayweather

id rather see that fight I think ricky would ko him but its a good stylistic maychup than trying to watch floyd oputbox hatton or hatton smother floyd Id luv to see it

I would go with Cotto. Cotto can put combinations together and get out of the way, just like he did against Abdulev.

I also think this fight would be great, Their style would make for a war. I like the fact they are young and have both shown they have guts. I would favor Cotto but it is a fight that could go either way.

I think I would favor Hatton in this matchup. He seems to have a better chin (based off of Tzyu fight). It would be a nice war both fighters working the body well. I dont see how this would go the distance.

Hatton will beat Cotto at his own game, but i think Paul Mallangi has a good chance in beating Cotto so we'll see.

I back Cotto,my boy has the power to hurt Hatton,he's not like Tszyu,he'll use the lateral movement to make the room. He's as big as Hatton too and just as strong. HOWEVER,I have a hard time ever discounting Hatton so it could go either way.

I think Castillo beats both of them. Maybe not a year from now, because his time is ticking. As far as Hatton-Cotto, it's a push.

I don't know Castillo is a proven vet, but both of them are naturally bigger , especially Cotto with his trouble making weight, but he does pack a punch, if Castillo and Cotto win, I guess we will find out later this year if Castillo vs Cotto gets made.

Malinaggi doesn't have the power to keep Cotto off him, he's gonna get backed up and pinned then stopped

Cotto might be bigger by a little, but Castillo comes into fights weighing close to 150+, so he's not really that much smaller. That is also one of the reasons he has alot of power at 135. Hell, he kills himself to make 135, and still can't do it. He can barely make 140.

hatton would kill him, you saw what torress managed to do, i just see it being the same exceopt no knockdowns for cotto

Hatton wins that one. One of the best ways to beat Cotto is to back him up. Usually I'd do an analyses but... I don't feel like it
