Why would Shane do this? Although, lets give Jack his credit. We weren't knocking him when Shane beat Delahoya the first time. But on the fliside of that, his advice during Shane's lesser performances like the Winky fights, and the Forest rematch, was awful.

I don't think this is a good idea.

Yeah, it's sort of strange he would hire him back...but Vargas still has to make him give bad advice to Shane.

Vargas needs to tighten that D and he's golden vs Shane!

Mosley is more active than Vargas, which is why I think he will get the decision here. Think about it. When was the last time you heard boos in a Mosley fight because of inactivity? The guy is always trying to force the action, trying to make something happen.

Shane is pretty underrated and I mean it!!!!! I know it sounds stupid but look at him and Oscar in there records(when they reached contender and championship status) you are hard pressed to see a scrub filler match in there careers even after losses they bounced backed against the best Shane will go down as 1 of the best of all time not just based on record but quality of opponent!!!! Shane is a gamer and comes to fight who has he ever ducked?  Shane never ran from a loss and always challenged his nemesis at the time.... win or lose again IMO shane is one of the greatest of his generation and of all time

Maybe Shane is doing this because he knows hecan get a third fight if he loses.

But it's not like Shane has a choice. Hopkins is using John David Jackson because he is the "southpaw expert"

Sorry for the rambling on my last post!!!!I hope they can click for this bout and dont become complacent during the fight if Shane faces adversity and finds himself behind... alot of times Fathers stay composed and balanced when everything goes there way but we knows what happens when it goes the other way I guess it is natural instinct afterall it is his son when it is all said and done but from a business and fight survival standpoint it can prove detrimental

This is a step backwards for Shane. His Dad doesnt know what to say when Shane faces adversity. Why will it be any different now?
