    mad boxo, if i remember rightly you are 14. You should not even think about picking up weights until you are 16 and better 18. If you start lifting weights before then you will stunt your development. This also includes putting weight on. My advice for you on everything is work on the technical side of your game and wait to see what hand you have been dealt by the big man upstairs. I am 21, when I was 11 I shot up to 6ft tall, but weighed only 60 kg, by 18 I weighed about 75kg, but now at 21 I weigh 95kg as I had another growth spurt. As you get older your body will broaden and you will develop muscles without even trying to. If you force it then it really is not going to do you any good, which is why most gyms will not allow you into the weights room until you are 16.

    im 13 but this one isint for me my dad wants to work on his chest muscels but he dosint know exactly how so i said id post it on this and im not going to be doing weights any time soon im just going to stick to pushups and situps

    Im 15, weigh 150, and can lift 185. I started lifting at 14 when i could only do about 95 bench. Pushups, I think will help your chest muscles a little to.

    weight lifting won't stunt your growth, its unproven. There is a tendency thought to lift too heavy at a young age.

    Keep the reps very high. Bolx to flat benching its for cheats and wankers who can't lift and don't even bother benching on a smith machine!!!! Use upright cable crossovers if you can and vary the andle, cable flyes lying on a swiss ball. If you do have to use a bench try incline flyes to isolate the chest then chest pressing with dumbells never a bar!!!

    Having said that the king of all chest eercises for Boxing and MMA is press-ups. Try doing them slowly with corresct technique and watch your chest, triceps and dlets tone up!!! I know lots of people who clain to be able to do over 100 in one go but thats bolx when you slow things down and do them properly. when you can do that 30 good ones, move onto Hindu push ups. Remeber keep flexible, never do the same week out week after week.

    I'm 15, weigh 140 lbs but am 6'3" and can bench press 210. I am a monster for my weight!!!
