It was pretty good...I saw X-Men III as well and that was good too.

The Omen is decent, having not really remembered the original I thought it was really good.

Are there any Savage Rottweiler attack scenes,a mad Black Raven/Crow and a nutty Granny who owns 'said' Rotty.

From what I've seen they've ripped it scene for scene.

    Sounds sh*t then

Anyone know the horror stories behind the making of the original (was on Ch 4 last night)

Freakish stuff went on during the filming of the original.

The Rotties went wild and bit thru the stuntmans steel suit and put him in hospital (they had never failed to respect a cease command before)
The Babboon scene was proper terror on the part of Lee remick (the things went wild and her face is genuine terror)
Another scene that was cut was due to another stuntman getting his brain pierced by a Lions teeth (he died so they cut the scene)
Gregory pecks own son blew his head off with a shooter during filming...
Pecks planes engines failed en route to London just before filming started and was struck by lightning 3 times.
The opening scene of the original was supposed to be a panoramic view of London from the sky....
For one reason or another the small plane that was due to take the crew was chartered to some Chinese businessmen (basically the same flight but they paid more £££-was a budget film).
The plane crashed killing all passengers and crew.
And this one is the Sh*t....
The cameraman who filmed the decapitation scene in the original was decapitated himself a year after the release on route 66-6 on his way to a town called OMEN in the US of A.
    Fierce in my book

From the sounds of it its a "Longest Yard" thing.

If you seen the original or variant, i wouldnt bother. And from whats been said of it being copied scene for scene, thats straight up lazyness and doesnt deserve my fking money.
