Thread: Wright DID win round 12

IMO Winky Wright won round 12 even though it wasn't very pleasing in the manner in which he did it. Almost completely changing his style from which he fought the first 11 rounds. I believe the judges were ready to hand the decision over to Wright, but when he came out like a fox in that last round instead of a wolf, the judges were a bit turned away from that and thus gave the round to Taylor regardless of whether Jermaine did any damage.

Jermain didn´t act like the middleweight champion of the world... I want the top to sort out that and not call taylor the champ.

his the challenger so he must finish it like a wolf...he didn't win the 12 and he didn't win the title either...that was a draw or a taylor win...

he got discourage due to his eye being swell he prolly felt the judge would give it to winky because of his eye...but that eye was cause from a headbutt...and if it wasn't for taylor not being able to see...he would of kept the fight in the middle of the ring and ran away with the win...or finish winky off...

JT is a gentleman. He dont dis respect folks like that big baby winky. I dont want to fight jermaine no more. Boo hoo! Wright got hurt and thats why he dont want to fight. The fight was close and for winky to act that way, he just lost my respect. Win lose or draw, taylor is always gracious to his opponent, but all winky and bernard can do is cry like big babies and say the fans know the fans know. Yeah, this fan knows they both LOST!

Ok, so the middleweight champ got discouraged because of the eye, facing a guy who usually go 12 rounds? I belive that means he doesn´t have a bright future in the division.

Considering he pulled a draw out of a hell of match being as green as he is, i think his future looks pretty bright.

What are yall talking about? Winky DID NOT win that last round? He ran like ODLH in the Trinidad fight. I gave Winky the 11th, and if he would have fought the same in the 12th, I would have given him the 12th too. But he didn't. He ran for no real reason.

I agree, I think both fighters did a great job, but his ego didn't let him fight the 12th. He doesn't deserve the win because he didn't win.

taylor inivited winky in the ropes to finish things but winky didnt want any more...taylor took the round when he threw punches but winky rather just call it a night and if he lose he'll be some kind of victim of bad decision instead of taking the fight to taylor and deserving the win...
