He's afraid of him....after what he did to him in the amateurs and what he did to oscar before the hop fight...nobody at middle wants to fight him...esp not TAylor...

I like Felix Sturm. I think he's a good fighter. But it was him, not Taylor who refused the fight.

True...but you just saw why...& Sturm's camp stated that as the ONLY reason that they would not fight Taylor.

Taylor & Sturm has happened twice already & both have a win over the other. I'd be curious to see the two match up...or even Sturm vs Wright...but Sturm is being lined up for a massive gate against Abraham in Germany.

Sturm probably won't fight stateside for a few years...if ever again.

Nobody wants to work all week long, cash a paycheck, & then have someone steal it before you make a deposit...how you think a boxer feels?

was it because of the way they robbed him in the oscar fight...he wants jermain to come over seas right? I wouldn't fight in the us either if i were him....esp the way he killed oscar....now that's how you beat an old fighter..not the crappy give it to the young upstart way the seem to be giving it to taylor...

Fight over seas? Yeah, US fighters never get robbed over there. It was the Charles Brewer robbery that started Sven Ottke's joke of a reign.

Listen, Sturm is a fine young fighter and I would love a Sturm - TAylor fight. But Taylor fought one of the top P4P fighters in the world and came away with a draw. Taylor is a fighting champion, he isn't ducking anybody. I'm proud of him for fighting Winky so soon and being the better man post fight. He is completely honest and it makes him so likable. IT's impossible for me to hate the guy. It really is. He's VERY good for boxing imo. He has close fights with class competition and he never gets outclassed. He didn't get outclassed tonight. I didn't think he won, but he knows the deal. He should be commended.

Are robberies over seas more frequent for the sake of making a European fighter champion?

well sturm was champ before they robbed him and took his belt and undefeated record against oscar just so he and bhop could fight with more postive feedback....

taylor should be wanting to fight sturm seeing as how that's the last person he lost to..and quite bad at that..(2000 olympics)

well it's understandable why roy didn't go overseas..and it's clear why sturm won't come back over here... because they both were robbed on foreign soil...that's understandable..why neither would want to go overseas...roy wouldn't have had a problem if he wasn't traumatized..and felix would return to us if he wasn't robbed by oscar and his judges..

Strum had the low budget WBO title. Only a fool or a groupie actually considered him a champion.
