Default J ceasar chavez jr vs Amir khan

    How would this fight go??

I think khan has to much potential, talent and win by UD in a 6 rounder.

Not see enough of either yet I think to make a real judgement here. Must say it's a pretty interesting match up though. It would be a good one to see what they are really all about, very intriguing and hope it happens.

    I would probably say Chavez.

Amir is too anxious and gets careless. Sure he'd win the first two rounds. But after that I think Chavez would win. Amir doesn't have as much power as some people say. We saw that in his last fight.

Chavez Jr. is a solid boxer, with some good attributes - height and reach which he uses well at times, and a great left hook to the body actually.

    I'd say Chavez by 58-56, or 57.

Who knows, we've only really seen 'em in with tomato cans who have glorified them.

Jus because he dunt knock one guy out, dunt mean he has no power. Tyson didnt knock everyone out. This whole power punchin thing is a bit of a joke in fact. Look at Miguel Cotto for example. U would say he has a lot of power.........but then you could argue, wel he should have because he enters the ring about 15 pounds heavier then his opponent. Same with Ricky hatton. We saw what happened when hatton only had a 2 pound advantage over collazo. Hell Cotto couldn't put malignaggi away with a near 20 pound advantage. Does he also have no power then?

Khan is well known for his skills and talent.

Chavez Jr is well known because of his name.

What one would you bet on

Who is Ceasar Chavez Junior? He's a nobody, that's what.
The only reason he is famous is because of his pops.
Amir earnt the respect because he won a silver medal at the Olympics, and really showed that he had true talent....unlike Chavez who is only being recoqnized because of his dad.

I didnt say he had no power, I said he 'didnt have as much power as people think'

Not just because he couldnt knock over his last opponent, but I've seen all of Amir's fights, and it's clear to me that he doesnt have as much pop as first thought. He just doesn't. Especially after the first couple of rounds.

This is in part due to the fact that he doesn't put his body behind his punches so much, he often arm-punches.

But either way, I reckon Chavez.

Cool click mate thats also spot on. Chavez only has 20 sum fights whereas kahn had a very successful amatuer career..............something that chavez jr never had.

He's young enough to learn to transfer his body weight into a punch. He did it against that belarussian guy n ko'd him inside 11 seconds. Cool click anyway good argument.
