Just put a tenner on them at 10/1 to win there!

A good bet i've found though is evens for a South American team to win it,may be worth a decent flutter!

Evens not a bad bet, i still think it's 50/50, either a european or South American team win it, but when was the last time a South American team won the World Cup in Europe?? I cant remember, have they ever?

Brazil in Sweden '58 but that was back when travel was pretty difficult,teams got the boat across the Atlantic etc.Nowadays half the South American teams play in Europe anyway so it's not really a disadvantage!
Thing is i can get 7/2 on Brazil and 4/1 on Argentina seperately so i dunno if evens is such a good bet.....................but it seems so tempting!

No mate your not, if there the prices your losing out, if you put £20.00 each on Atgentina and Brazil the worst you will win is £90.00, evs obviously £80.00, now if the bookies think any of the other South American's have a chance they must be having a laugh!!

Id piss myself if you backed Brazil/Argentina and another South American team won it.

Some guy from Scotland had £40,000 on England to beat Sweden last night... I would have given anything to see the look on his face when Larsson scored the last minute equaliser.

He was probably on the phone to his wife at the time from the pub:

First off why would you put a £40000 bet on something so unsure??

Secondly why would you pick this game?? The win wasnt that important?? This guy must have more money than sense or if he hasnt he is probably trying to find his next meal as we speak.

How can you live through watching that knowing there is £40k on the line, i nearly have a heart attack when i have £20.00 on a boxing fight, proper stressful experience. £40K THOUGH FUCK ME I WOULD OF NEEDED AN AMBULANCE BY HALF TIME!!
