Only watched a minute or so of each, but not too bad.

By square, he means your upper body. Your feet may be back, but your rear shoulder is forward, squaring off your shoulders with the bag. This makes your jab have a bit more umf, but your "rear" hand loses power, and makes you a much bigger, easier to hit target.

Also, you almost seem to have a thai boxing stance, as opposed to a traditional western boxing stance. Your rear hand is high, palm outward (unless the glare is really messing with my vision, which is possible).

Not bad overall, and definately an improvement. Keep up the good work.
Boxing is like a handjob, and MMA is like a hot sweaty orgy with 5 chicks. I could never say no to a handjob, but which would you rather have?

Utlilize some rhythm in your training.. bounce a bit.. duck and parry every so often. Use your hook as well as an uper cut. On the retraction of your jab your hand lowers, which is lunch for a counter puncher.. keep up the training..

add some more variation. mix some uppercuts and hooks in there. a combo i like doing(in orthodox) is left upper, straight, hook, straight.

not a bad jab. Sometimes when you throw your combo your right hand is down.

Also, as someone said, it's almost spot on for muay thai. Bring your jab hand up and rear hand down. It's too high. Also tuch your left elbow WAAAAY in. You're completely exposing your ribs. That's also why being too square is bad. Turn your laft hand inwards and rest it on your cheek.

it's also tough to grade your footwork. Jab and stride, then drag your back foot.

    Very carefully

Basically you can throw an upper to the body, but you're gonna have trouble finding it's jaw.

Otherwise, they have uppercut bags, etc that you can buy (they actually have some weird looking bags, that are basically just a heavy bag, with a fat ring at just above headlevel, so you can throw uppercuts on a normal bag....not sure how effective that thing is, though)

Good advise about the rhythm, put some good funky music on and move to it. Get a groove going and all your punches come out smooth and you not such a target, I think one of the biggest mistake people make on the heavy bag is they see only a heavy bag,.. You got to see that bag as a ferocious opponent waiting to counter every time you thow a shot , and don’t just stand there flat footed , move that head circle that bag, feel that music. Watch some vintage Evander Holyfield you can see that rhythm he had. Its like he hear that music in his head and moves to it

One thing I noticed is YOU'RE NOT DANCING AROUND. You're standing still when you punch. It wouldn't hurt to practice moving around a little bit, and not just stay in the same spot. But other than that, I can't say I have any problems. You're better than me, that's for sure.

for being a southpaw like me.
