I invented the right hook.

The best shot against a southpaw Von is a left hook every time.

I like to parry there jab with my left and then throw a left hand on them (hook or straight) over the top.

I tried my patented right hook today in a sparring session and it didn't do shit. lol. Although, we were going pretty easy so I could wind the sucker up. Basicall my "right hook" is a modified right uppercut for getting around the shell.

lead right straight down the middlae works for me on southpaws, after a fake jab.

i have been trainign for a while now, today was the first time in the ring for a spar, i thought it was cool that all that i've been taught over 4 months came to me without even thinking, especially regarding footwork and/on multiple jabs. i liked getting popped, there's no sustitute for learning by getting popped in the nose or back of the head. my trainer's a good guy though so we had more fun than anything else. i even took a couple of his knees to the balls. lol. I'll step it up a notch with every opportunity. I wasn't about to lay out an old man and he wasn't about the to have a heart attack trying to lay out a young man! to that end, i didn't even throw a 1-2. just jab jab clinch kind of stuff. good fun. (except for taking the nose shots.... but i did get him back a couple times... i even stopped to say, "paul, y'ok?!" to whch he replied, "hey, it was a good shot!"

I know what you mean Adam when you stop his jab with your left hand your left make his jab go down as you left go's up on top to his head.

He's more than welcome to reach across with his right to parry a right hab with his right hand... as long as he likes the feeling of the -already loaded from the jab- left cross/hook he's going to get on his glass jaw.

i got a three punch combo which usually catches em off guard.

right hook to the body and the left hook to the head will catch em, then throw a right hook to the head for good measure!
