INO, I still believe that Tarver can beat Calzaghe at light heavy, but will it ever happen?

Nah. Calzaghe for some reason always seems to find a way for the big fights not to happen.

Didn't Tarver just get his ass handed to him by a fiddy year old middleweight?

Calzaghe would overwhelm Tarver.

I hope Tarver would just retire, Calzaghe would just be way too active for an old Tarver who fades down the stretch of even slow paced fights.

Much rather see Calzaghe against Kessler, or even Hopkins.

Calzaghe would embarrass him, I really see no big fights left for Tarver....unless the goes up in weight and embarrasses himself, there is nothing left really...

He doesn't need to move up in weight to embarrass himself, he just needs to wait till Rocky 6 comes out and we can all see what a great actor he is :P

This looks like a mismatch on paper because of the Hopkins fight. But keeping in mind that Calzaghe's defense is nowhere near as good as Hopkins'. I will go for The Magic Man to beat Calzaghe but Joe is going to sit on that Jeff Lacy win for the rest of his career I think.

This post makes me laugh. Calzaghe wud whip his cock out n slap tarver with it for 12 full rounds before winning a very lopsided decison. Might even stop the 'magic man'

what a waste of a calzaghe fight, if it was against tarver..... I mean, imagen if calzaghe finaly heals up, and picks an actualy opponent, and its lame as tarver? How depressing. We would haveto see tarver complain that he is being mistreated, and that he in the wrong corner of the ring this time, (not just the screen lol) and how calzaghe is drinking avion water, while all he gets is poland springs...

i think tarver calzaghe will happen cos once calzaghe faces off with jonson hands his nuts to him and i think tarver thinks little of joe, i reckon theyl get it on sometime nexy year and tarver will lose by decision, hes not the same since he dropped from heavy after the rocky film, and after taver beat jones for the same reason i reckon now he must understand!
