    Default knuckle injury help

    hey how's it going guys?

a couple months ago i was pretty drunk, got mad, and wound up punching straight through two walls with my right hand.. needless to say the next morning i couldnt move my hand and i realized how bad of an idea that was.

but now, at least 5/6 months later, whenever i try to hit the bag at the gym, after about 10 minutes my right pinky knuckle and my thumb knuckle starts to hurt, bruise, and swell up pretty bad. i had gotten them x-rayed and according the hospital they weren't fractured or anything.. just 'internally bruised'.

my question was if anyone knew any way to completely heal my hand up? one of my dad's friends told me that when he used to box he knew a guy that said if you soak your hand in vinegar for 20 minutes a day your hand will become like stone.. i don't know how true that one is, but any ideas?

You can bet youve damaged the mysolin and tendons in the hand, and left it a bit late. In all honesty its harder to repair than a broken bone. You could try a coarse of glucosamin, that could help, but theres no certainty it will work

Something on the market called “ Deep Tissue Oil” made by a company called Pure Herbs. Puts a few drops on your hand and rub it in…. Also at night before bed take Epson salts pour into a Hot Bath , add a few drops of peppermint oil , and get your a** in there lay your hands by your side a relax… you will be back in a jiffy ! Good Luck !

Not to hijack thread, but I've got a similar problem, caused by a similar situation. Basically, I got pissed and punched throw a wall, punched a brick wall a few times, and punched a few trees.

Now the knuckles on my right hand ache constantly. It doesn't get much worse when I box. It also feels "tight" around my knuckles (I know it doesnt make much sense, but thats the best I can describe it). Is it the same problem, or might it be the actual knuckle?
Boxing is like a handjob, and MMA is like a hot sweaty orgy with 5 chicks. I could never say no to a handjob, but which would you rather have?

that and quit punching walls!!!!!! learn to control your temper...or it will control you like this knuckle thing.....sometimes it can take YEARS to recover from tendons/ligament damage.......hope that's not in your case....
It feels good to be back home.

Its an old, mothers remedy. But not to be laughted at its a fat burner and an anti inflamatery properties in it .Never say never. Clucosamin was produced to aid regeneration of mysolin cartiledge tendons, theres proof that it works. Lots of top pro sports people take it as a supplement to repair impact damage, its proven.
