Rahman: "Klitschko is The Guy I Want"

In an interview with South Africa's IOL, WBC heavyweight champion Hasim Rahman made it clear that IBF heavyweight champion Wladimir Klitschko is on his mind and he is also the next fighter he wants to meet in the ring.

Rahman has been around the block more than the Ice Cream man, I am sick of hearing his name affiliated with being the champion or being a contender for the championship, we have spent the last 7 years with him in the limelight, we need new fresh heavyweights.

Rahman needs to get by Oleg first (I doubt that). He is far from great and even farther from a fight with Wlad.....hopefully this next KO from Oleg will get him out of here.....
It feels good to be back home.

I'd prefer to see Toney fight Wlad, but either of them would be fine... at least it would fill the vacancy & create a new heavyweight champion.

    Doncha just love boxing?

Alright...here's my thing...after just getting back from the doctor today with the knowledge that I have pulled a muscle in my groin & basically shredding a muscle in my back...& thus being equipped with a wealth of pain medication, muscle relaxers, & yes...the poison of my choice in my system...that will no doubt either pass me the fwock out or keep me jacked up until the weeeeeeeeee morn hours...all of which this doctor had to jam a finger up me pooper...coddle my weeeeeeeeeee genitallia in his palms & asking me to cough...embarrassingly...devastatingly...humiliati ngly...errrrrrrrrrrr...where was I?

    Oh yeah...boxing & once again...the name...Klitschko.

Everyone wants Wlad...everyone wants a Klitschko & Rahman wants Wlad because...well...the big brother bailed & apparently he see's Wlad as an easier assignment?

Well...does he? Because let me say this...he aint gonna be no walk in the fwockin park...I might say that Wlad will be as devastating to Rahman as the finger of the doctor was to my poor poor bottom...ohhhhhhhhhhhh god...how humiliating.

Seriously...that was just wrong...oh...& before anyone get's cute...you gotdam right I checked my shoulders to be sure that there weren't to palms there.

    Anywho...Wlad vs Rahman...I mean...come on.

    Wlad by TKO.

Also...Rahman's gotta get by Maskaev first...& ohhhhhhhhhhhhh the humiliation of losing once again to the man that blasted you outta the ring.

I wonder if Maskaev's knuckles are as large as your general medical practioner?

    Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhh the humiliation.

Least I got me some dope out of it...for my poor...poor crying back.

Gentlemen...young & up & coming forum members...no matter what anyone says...avoid physicals at all costs...totally humiliating.

Probably as humiliating as losing to Maskaev again. Oh he's gonna lose...wait & see.

    Agreed.

But think about this...what has been the only worthy fight that Toney has had at heavyweight?

It was against an old battle worn Evander.

Now would you really want JFAT as a heavyweight champion? I for one would hate it. I think Toney is a sorry example of a heavyweight champion.

    Do you not?

**Note...that wasn't as hardcore or demeaningly directed at you as it sounded...HEY!!! I'm just talking here!!!

Rahman wants other men..but I thought he'd find someone more attractive and "not so" close to his brother

Rahman and Wvlad are both inconsistant performers and although they are supposed to be the best 2 in the wordl you wouldnt like to put your house on either man . Their chins have let em down many times in teh past and so has their mental strength .

On the face of it id say Wvlad is the best heavy . If he fought Rahman hed jab his head off for four rounds like Lennox did then a power shot would probably hurt Hasim . I think Rahman could carry on cuz Wvlad doesnt hit like Lewis but after another 4 rounds of Wvlad unloading either he will get tired of punching or Rahman wouldnt be able to take anymore . Either way someomne goes at this stage and id say it would be Rahman . Wvlad is a better fighter IMO

Sweet bro, I agree that Toney's best win at heavy was Holyfield, but atleast Toney is badass, he don't back down to no one, he can talk smack with the best of them. I agree Toney is a sorry example for a heavy, but amoungst this batch of mediocre wannabies Toney is an Ali (in personality) he also brings an extra element: being a former middleweight now fighting with the big boys & on the cusp of fighting for the world heavyweight title.

Just thought it would be funny to remember this journeyman's quote after it was all said and done. Hopefully he goes away for good this time.
