Don't if this guy can last more than five rounds with the elite of the SuperFeather Weights, but his last punch was sick.I know he fared well in a sparring match with Erik Morales but that was sparring.

I'm not really sold on him so far. I've seen this clip before and thought he looked wide open to be countered, then I saw his last fight and he looked just as bad.

I don't see him winning anything right now to be honest, sooner or late he's going to to up against someone who can actually box and then he's going to picked apart and destroyed.

Another thing, from what I've seen he isn't even that big a hitter. I mean he landed about 60 shots in that round before he finally put the gut out of there.

Compare that with someone like Tyson who could really end a fight with one punch power and he looks pretty weak.

He's a volume puncher, not a one punch artist, at least thats what I would say from what I've seen of him so far.

I'm interested to see how how goes this Saturday against decent opposition but even if he wins can you honestly see this guy mixing it with the likes of Berrara or Pacquiao?

The best compliment I can give him is that he makes Rocardo Mayorga look slick.

Bilbo, I was actually thinking the same, he throws a lot of punches to be effective and I even noticed he almost gassed out on that very first round. I think in a real fight EM would counter him to death, Barrera and JMM too. Pac would dart in and out and hurt him all the while. But who knows, all of his fights ended by KO if that power is legit he may give these guys trouble if he hits them clean, but nah! I am thinking of getting Freddie Roach to train this guy. Heehee he just make absolute work out of these punchers.

    back at ya.

He's definitely exciting no question and that can only be good for boxing but I just can't see how someone who looks so amatuer as he does could actually beat a world class professional fighter.

He looks like he should be fighting 4 rounders on a Butterbean undercard, or maybe Pride or UFC. He just looks really really bad.

I'm hoping he proves me wrong and wins big tomorrow because everyone loves to see someone who can knock guys out, but I just don't so how he can win to be honest.

If he fights the way he has been and his opponent is still there after 2 rounds, 3 at best, you would have to conclude that he's done.

He's going to be exhausted before the first third of the fight is done.

I reckon tomorrow he either wins in 3 or gets knocked out in 7.

Interesting point of view, he does throw from the hip and wide. I think your right on Viloria is an accident waiting to happen. CC

The more I see of Edwin Valero...the better off I think he is fighting in obscurity.

Keeps his left hand way too low. Anyone one the deep end of the top 20 right now would give him issues I believe.

CC back at yah! I've been busy with recruiting docs the past month. Anyway, Valero did win Bilbo posted it here and wow by a 10th round KO the first time he reached that far or for that matter anyone lasted with Valero that far. That just means I am proven wrong about my take on his stamina, if he fought like that in 10 rounds man he's a monster.

Hey Minty, sounds like he won in a barnburner, both fighters cut, both down damn why wasn't this on HBO, curse his fucking metal head! :P

Can't wait to see this fight, after the disappointment of Joel Julio and Sechew Powell, the real superstar turns out be the most unlikely boxer of all!
