joe louis??
not sure if it is him but cc anyway
It depends what you mean by World Champion
Joe Louis held universal recogintion as Heavyweight World Champion for nearly 12 years
Abe Attell held claims to the Featherweight World Championship from 1901 though to 1912
Simon Harrison has held the SHBF heavyweight title from July 1988 to the present day...![]()
thanks for the answer bk cc
1901-1912=11 years he still loses to Louis.Originally Posted by BK

oh yea forgot about him and i think hes made 18 title defences![]()
hey bk chavez must of made loads of title defences
yeh its a pretty badass run, i think floyd must have a pretty bad record in title fights at the moment i mean hes never lost and hes won titles in 4 classes.. that must look awfully good on the ol rec! also tito had a good title run before he was defeated, is tito still the only man in middle wieght to have won the title on the first match in the wieght class( apart form s.r.leonard?)

As for Abe, it is a very debatable subject as a lot of people discredit Attell, many of his fights were by his own admission fixed. And yet at his best, he was some think (not me) maybe the Greatest Featherweight ever...
Louis obviously had a more respected reign that was slightly
