    Default How do you know what type of body you are?

    You know how you are mesomorph,endomorph or ectomorph. I aint skinny....but i aint fat either. Ive got wide shoulders, carry a bit of weight at the moment but not heaps and im starting to do weights to tone up. Would that make me a mesomorph? I know its not really a very scientific way of analysing your body but im just curious about the concept.

    ive heard 'bout body types but i dont really understand what each type is made up of. can anyone explain please ??

    Usually Minerals, Chains or Amino acids and lipids... :P

    It's really the rate of your metabolism, basically how quickly you use and store Calories and deliver nutrients for tissue growth and repair.

    Naturally Skinny people, naturally Fat people and naturally athletic people...

    lord knows what i am.... i was always naturally athletic....
    and then when i began boxing a couple of years ago i was lookin tip top and before about three months ago i had not trained consistantly in like 8 months and due to lack of excersize bad diet because i would eat crap while i worked, and drinking i still have all the muscle but my body has somewhat a small layer of puppy fat that im findin very hard to get rid of right now!! lol
    anyone got any advice on how to get my tone back? :P

    Stop eating shite and train more? :P Just do what you where doing 3 months ago... no shortcuts, you've got to pay the price for getting lazy... :P

    lol Fock lazyness i been tip top for about the last 2n a half 3 months, im trainin as hard as ever its jus so hard to loose this puppy fat, lol it disgusts me...
    im still eating good again though now, cos i dont eat crisps n choc n sweet shit in the day....cos i lost me job :P
    n i bin trying to tone up again n its not very affective?
    what would u advise?

    lol ner brother im 17 as of yesterday lol
    was a fast fit mechanic, but never stuck it out to get qualified even though i can ace the job, cos my college tutor was an ignarant bast.ard n i roughed him up..lol :P
    i know i could do alot more stomach excercise, but i never get into routine of setting time aside each day!

    You can't spot burn fat. Muscle and fat tissue from the same areas are no more related than they are to the rest of the body

    Sit ups won't make you burn the fat off your stomach (specifically )

    yeh but i figured if it was jus the hangover puppy fat maybe something like leg raises would sort me out!!
    im on a dossers course,im either ending up gettin a career the hard way by jus working in unskilled jobs and such for alright money , but at the same time i waner do somethin like bricklayin at college, but not sure how long i can last on £30 a week lol
    what u do fo a living? u from newcastle or somethin aintyer?

    So does doing weights get rid of fat it selft or does it need cardo with it ?

    You can get sent to college and earn more than £30 a week, try and find an employer who run modern apprenticeships and you'll start off on a grant of 80 a week and then get put on the minimum wage which should get you about £150 a week when you're 18 (that's for trainees, apprentices earn a bit more)

    When I did mine they had me down as a trainee (not tranee :P) so I was on 80, 110 and 150 when the national minimum wage went up... after I got my level 1 I decided I was gonna try and get into coaching and I learned they where going to keep me on as a trainee for the first 2 years (the training over 2 years is the same as an apprentice's first two years) and then upgrade me to an proper apprenticeship after I'd done my 2 years for the third year.

    basically so they didn't have to pay me as much :P

    I was doing road works, block paving... flaging... tarmacing, earth works, concreting etc... if you work it properly it can keep you pretty fit...

    Now for Snakey :P

    Doing weights will help you burn some calories (fat ) but not as much as a cardiovascular work out will, because you are using a lot more muscle groups.

    Muscle requires oxygen and energy to live, the more muscle you have, the more energy you burn at rest, so developing more muscle mass can help

    Weights only help though, you have to do some form of cardio for any real fat loss...

    So yeah This Post Was Weird But IM Guessing Since Im Kinda Skinny, So That Means I Would Be The First One..
    Idk Im COnfused But Im Naturaly Skinny But Im Athletic and deffinantly not fat.
