I have noticed that our American cousins use the word Ass quite alot. They are always kicking someone's ass, or chasing their ass away, giving them an asswhipping, or calling someone an asshole.

It seems a realy common figure of speech over there, and I was wondering why that was? Are there any sociologicts with an explanation. It seems a strange part of the body to develop such a national fixation with?

When you say 'kick your ass' are you simply being too lazy to spell/say (I can get away with prouncing it 'ass'... if that it your accent then fine... as long as you know you are saying the word 'arse') a*** or are you assuming that the person you are talking to has a Donkey which you are going to kick?

We don't acknowledge the "R" in it.
I don't know why.
I don't know who added/or took out the "r", but it is confusing to us Americans who want to say bad words in proper English.

I'm from California, L.A. to be exact we use ASS for everything.
Not only that but theres plenty of things I'm sure you will find amusing same way we find cunt, bollocks, gary glitter & chav funny as fuck.

Heres a few examples of words that we add to any regular sentence that might not make sense to you but it's clearer then a motha fucker to me.
The words are: Ass, motha fucker, bitch, shit, fuck and others

Examples;
I'ma kick your fowcken ass
Shut your ass up
Whop your ass
Hit that ass
Your an ass
I'ma kick your motha fuckin' ass
Shut the fuck up
The motha fucker right there
The bitch at the store
Shit!!! (This word by itself with a sarcastic face means 'yeah right)
What the fuck (It's almost like your 'bloody el' however you spell that :P )



Heres a full scenario which makes sense;

I was going to the store when a motha fucker cut me off, so I flipped the motha fucker off and told him 'Shut the fuck up and go eat dick' the motha fucker turned around and yelled 'what the fuck' I told him I'ma kick your mutha fucken ass if you don't take your ass back where you came from. Bitch!!!!

People used to say 'jackass' all the time and ass was a shortened version of that "Don't be an ass"

Why you people decided to use it to subsitute the word arse is beyond me... :P
