you have to see how amazing cro-cop was, he was barley touched, i dont think silva landed a punch till the last 30 seconds, i managed to not let myself see who won before watching it and i was shocked when silva went down


cro-cop got him used to getting kicked in the body and silva wasnt ready for the first head kick he threw


also silvas eye was pretty much shut in the first minute of the fight, cro cop was unstoppable that night, and he was barley touched in either fight

chuck liddell and silva will happen and silva will get destroyed i cant even see it lasting one round, ufc level of fighters is way higher than pride, everyone is going on about silva because of how overwhelming he is in the clinch but when you neutralise that like tito ortiz did and when vitor analyalated him in 30 seconds it can be done chuck suffered one bad loss in pride to jackson but that was when he was overweight and coming off a loss to couture belive me chuck is number 1 at light heavy

Addy83: Come one man...I like Chuck and I think he can beat Silva, but it will be the toughest fight he's ever be in. And Pride is a international mma org. UFC is a north american org. Not that there aren't plenty of UFC guys that could compete and win in Pride but Pride is much deeper and talented orginization.

If Fedor is healthy again, and at the top of his game, he will beat cro-cop again. But the fact that he's been off all year with a broken hand (which means no heavy bag punching) then I really don't know what to expect. I think that Fedor is the best p4P mma fighter of all time. He is the complete package and as much as I like CroCop, he is not the complete package nor does he have any desire to be the complete package. He will practice ground for defense but that's about it.

van childs; the only time chuck has been dominated is by wrestlers, anyone who has ever tried to strike with him hs been blitzed i really dont see this as a tough fight for chuck, i can see wanderlei coming forward and chuck finding that button again and wanderlei being knocked out.

Cro Cop is imo one of the best fighters (of any sport) on the planet. He has a kind of focus and patience that not many fighters have. Confidence too.

another thing to be taken into consideration is that Silva wasn't half the fighter then that he is now. alot happens over the course of 5-10 years however long it's been

and to scold wanderlei for losing to a legit 'heavyweight' when he himself had to bulk up just to get 200lbs is just plain silly, the only thing we can hope for is that silva can still come back with the same confidence and make the liddell fight competitive
