Default RJJ Talks smack to Tarver, has eyes on Calzaghe, Woods

    good for roy.

i would like him to take out tarver (thus ending his "legend killer" label, he gave to himself ) and think he can, if he decides to fight the roy jones fight (boxes)

as for calzaghe, im afraid i dont see it happening at this point in roys career but roy a few years ago would spank joe all night long

as for woods, i dont care much for this fight but i would pull for roy, nonetheless

this is smack he talked in an interview on boxingtalk.com (read it, if youre a member)

That is possible....he would have to be as good as he can be to pull it off though....

They are old themselves now....if he can be ring savvy and smart then he can beat them...

If he wants to be the Jones of old then he gets his backside kicked

cmon, this guy needs to retire. his legacy is secure, there is no reason toi keep fighting. badi ajamu is alot different than tarver and calzahge.

i disagree, roy NEEDS to come back and beat tarver convincingly. Only then, does rjj secure his legacy.

1 out of 3 with the first being controversial (i thought roy won, but it was close) against tarver (who will never be considered an all time great) puts a hurt on roys legacy, imo

Gotta disagee with people thinking Calzaghe would be unbeatable for even an aging, somewhat gun shy Roy. If anything he'd be the easiest of the "elite" guys. Both Tarver and Johnson have a mental edge over Roy after KO'n him. And both hit harder and apply more pressure than Calzaghe IMO. Roy should retire, he got his 50th win, dominated a guy A LOT of people were pickin to KO Roy, but if he is to continue for a bit longer than go for Calzaghe at 175 and/or Johnson. I love Jones, but he had his chance in that third fight to beat Tarver and he blew it.

Tarver applys more pressure than Clazaghe?? What you been smoking Hulk? Calzaghe puts more pressure on you than Johnson and Tarver combined mate.

yea id love to see what smack RJJ said about MilkDUD ugly

i also agree id rather see RJJ avenge his losses to Tarver and GJ then take on Joe C. but id love to see Hopins rematch at Heavyweight. YES I SAID it HEAVYWEIGHT!!!!!!!! especially if B-Hop gets the WBC from OLEG that would be a sick way for both to end their careers ahahaha.

jones should retire right now if he keeps going someone will ko him again. his chin is gone (if he ever had one) and i think tarver, johnson, and calzage would stop him at this stage of his career. you guys gotta let go jones's time is up! with that said im no lover of jones and wouldnt mind seeing him get knfo one more time so id love to see any of those fights! (although maybe not milkdud, cause hell find a way to let roy win this time) and i might even root for roy if they fought again.

Danny Green is now available! C'mon Roy, grace us with your presence down under! That would be a beauty. BUT a good hit from Danny would definately send Roy into retirement. Roy Vs Mundine would be a cracker aswell. Either fight would fill the mighty MCG!

Calzaghe throws arm punches, and does not apply pressure as effectively against elite guys as Tarver and Johnson, nor does he hit as hard as them. He'd be the easiest guy for Roy right now of the superfights out there IMO.

Arm punches... for once pretend he isn't British...

I think Roy could beat him... if he fights smartly... which he probably won't.

Woods is the best fight out there for him, he is arguably the best in the division, but stylisticlly even a faded RJJ's might be too much for him.
