yeah man he was a bad asssss kickboxer first then a boxer. if u are a fellow martial artists u can see even in his fighting stance its more in a kick boxing stance than a conventional boxers stance. to be honest with u so was actor dolph lungren he had a martial arts background and in the rocky flick he was more so in a martial arts stance than a boxer stance. us martial artists see that from a mile away!Originally Posted by DaxxKahn

To tell you the truth I never gave it much thought. He does kind of have that stand back angle to him doesnt he?? Did you know about this before? His kickboxing? Know of any other bouts?

yeah when Vitali was going for the championship belt of kickboxing he saw that the champion's wife and kids were at the fight ringside. Vitali knocked out the champ and took his belt and saw the look on their faces and vowed never to let his own wife and kids come to his fights. but of course brother Wlad gets the best seat in the house(in his corner)Originally Posted by DaxxKahn

Yes.....as it was said in a post above, you could see his martial arts stance which people used to mistake for "ackwardness" or "inexperience". I used to get in arguments over that with a guy who no longer posts here. Vitali would drag his leg (this being the leg that he would normally kick with.) Old habits die hard.
Either way the guy made a fantastic boxer and he made the boxing world look at Lewis a little differently.
Not entirely sure anymore but I think he still has the best KO percentage of all time.
Pele Reid knocked him out.![]()
Never beg a 40 dollar hooker...specially after she's just turned down your mom's credit card!!
Yeah, I heard he lost to that guy.....then he went into boxing and in boxing no one knocked him out and he chased Lewis into retirement.Originally Posted by wacko3205

and then danny willams chased him into retirement
well that confirms that a KICK is like 4times as powerful than the heaviest hitter if its enough to KO Dr. Iron fist shiiiiiiiiiit. someone on saddo argued that with me and i told him that getting knocked out by a kick is far worse than a punch and he totally disagreed with me for like 3 pages of posts ahahha. but i hear that even so was a kick to the body and not even to his chin or something ive never seen the actual fight.Originally Posted by wacko3205
