    Default Baldomir vs. Margarito

Ok, so all the talk about upcoming Mayweather vs Baldomir fight and there was all that "talk" about people wanting Mayweather-Margarito, but what about...

    Baldomir vs Margarito!

Who would win this and why?

Baldomir has fought the MUCH better competition and margarito wouldn't be able to bully him with his size. I feel confident saying Baldo would win UD.

I think if there is anyone in the WW div. that can overpower Baldomitsubishi it's Margarito, He has a 6" reach and will be the first guy that Baldo will have to punch up to. I say Margarito late TKO.
For every story told that divides us, I believe there are a thousand untold that unite us.

I say Margarito would beat him, Baldomir isn't going to beat an opponent who is just as tough and physical as he is through his great boxing skills, not that Margarito has any whatsoever, I would just tip him because he has more power, would be a really tough entertaining fight I think.

Margarito would destroy Baldomir, any solid fighter without a glass chin with similar strength is 50-50 because thats all Baldomir is, if they have more speed, power, varied attack then they are favourite as long as they don't make mistakes. Its pretty simple.

You gentlemen either underrate baldomir or overrate margarito! Then again, maybe I am wrong..no one else thinks baldy would take a UD or win?

I though this was going to be a landslide for baldomir except of course the Margarito loyalist: Gamo, Cutme, and thebestp4p would say margarito... but all of you are saying margarit@!

It seems my little plan to build up Floyd when he beats baldomir and at the same time take down margarito has backfired...all because you meddling posters!

I think that Margarito is going to whoop Clottey and Floyd is going to beat Baldomir and then everyone is going to be calling PBF to fight margarito. Of course when/if Margarito beats Clottey one must ask who has Clottey beat? But that won't stop the margarito fans...a ravenous bunch they are. The only way a PBF vs. Margarito showdown won't happen is if the DLH thing goes through with pbf and Margarito gets exposed in the meantime. Which very well might happen.

Baldomir is the type of fighter that could make Margarito look good win or lose.

You've basically just defined Artuto Gatti. I'm pretty sure it takes more then that to beat Baldomir. Stop underestimating and instegating and downgrading and perpetrating what Baldomir isn't and having a Hatton picture in your av at the same time if you want to talk about a limited boxer.

I'm trying to say that I think Margarito is better than Baldomir, and that he would crush him. Who said Baldomir is one dimensional? How have i described Gatti, when I thought Baldomir would beat Gatti? Gatti's chin is long gone bro. Whats Hatton got to do with this?

Baldomir said it plenty of times in interviews he wanted NO part in Margarito he said he repected him and for now he had other PLAN$ for his new found fame.
Now that doesn't mean Margarito beats him on that, but it does mean that Margarito posses a BIGGER threat then most Welters.

Same thing with Mosely saying he wasn't ready for Margarito.

You get the same idea with Hatton and Mayweather too, why would anyone want to get in the ring with him, he's the most dangerous one out there, but maybe not the most unbeatable.

I personally want to see rematch MArgarito - Cintron I know he fights way better than he did that day
I just don't know that much of Margarito since I have only seen him fight Cintron and a shot boxer.

Off topic Trinidad(prime) vs Baldi or Margarito at 147 then we will see how good is Baldo's chin.

DOn't jump on me it just cross my mind for a sec. I'm thinking and writing.

    exactly!

what the margaritites dont want to ever tell you is that kermit cintron was coming off a long period of inactivity because he just had HAND SURGERY and that margarito was his return to the ring

Do you really want to do this again

    any

    So you mean all

solid fighter without a glass chin

    Arturo Gatti

    with similar strength is 50-50

Gatti hits harder, Baldomir just has the best chin in the business.

    [b]because thats all Baldomir is[b/]

So you just called Baldomir "just" a solid fighter without a glass chin and strength.

    if they have more speed,

    Gatti

    power,

    Gatti

    varied attack

    Gatti

then they are favourite as long as they don't make mistakes.

I don't think Gatti made any terrible mistakes, Baldomir just shut him down and Gatti couldn't outslug him in the end.

    Its pretty simple.

Can't be, or Gatti would have won. I think it takes more to beat Baldomir then just that. And since when has Gatti's chin been long gone?
