I will probably watch Corrales vs Casamayor. and catch Valuev vs Barret later.

Corrales-Casamayor easily
I think Adamek-Briggs is a better undercard fight than Darchinyan-Donaire so I'm gonna try and catch that then switch over to showtime to watch Corrales-Casamayor. Does anybody know if both cards start at the same time?

I'm watching both. But if I had to pick one, it would easily be Casamayor-Corrales 3.
Don't know why.. But I think Ill watch the Barret Valuev card.. Adamek vs Briggs was supposed to be a great fight, and I like Nate Campbell alot as well, don't know his opponent( Matt Zegan) but he has a good record, hopefully Nate could even fight the winner of Corrales Casamayor if he looks great like he did against Kid Diamond. Im also just drawn towards watching Valuev, I want to see if he has improved, and see him period as I haven't watched one full fight of his. Saw clips of him against Larry Donald and Ruiz, and he certainly didn't look like much. But the potential is there if he can improve his technique even in the slightest he could give anyone trouble. if there was a decent undercard on Casmayor Corrales Id probably watch it. But there is none, and I think both those guys are close to being shot. Likely it will end up being a great fight and the Valuev card will suck.. But Im still going to watch it I think.
Corrales v. Casamayor for sure, I don't really care if Valuev wins or if Barrett pulls off an upset.
I am more interested in the Valuev undercard than the Valuev fight itself.
For every story told that divides us, I believe there are a thousand untold that unite us.
Valuev seems to have skill, but he is so go**amned sluggish. If I was his trainer I would make him drop 15to 20 pounds.
If he had speed and head movement...he would a dominant fighter. Until then he is always one fight away from getting outboxed and losing that title.
Yea I know. That's kind of why I'm interested in this fight, he has apparently improved in his last 2 fights.. I saw him do some decent work against Ruiz, and he hammered Beck out of there, although he's nobody.. He certainly looked bad against Larry Donald though, if he can keep improving he could definetly have a shot to beat anyone, imo. Wlad would probably kill him, but at the same time he is so fucking huge and seems to take a great punch.. He would have as good a chance as anyonen to beat Wlad by wearing him out.Originally Posted by mucho testosterone
Sure...in the slightest Valuev will have Roy Jones' speed, Larry Holmes' jab and Pernell Whitaker's defense, James Toney's mouth and become the savior of the HeavyweightsOriginally Posted by p4pking
EDIT:
He has done the Ali shuffle before![]()
with that said, another one of his problems is that he does "take punches" too frequently and to the head as well.Originally Posted by p4pking
Valuev is tall enough to where he should rarely be getting hit in the face.
Valuev is the new Goliath waiting for David
corrales without a doubt.
