Default Darchinyan calls out Arce!!! Fantastic!!! Can't wait...if it happens.

    Darchinyan calls out Arce

    http://www.ufcfightnews.com/oct7-postcasa.htm

IBF and IBO flyweight champion, Armenian Vic Darchinyan, spoke briefly after his win over Filipino Glenn Donaire.

“I couldn’t understand why it’s a technical decision," he said at the podium. "His corner stopped the fight he turned away.”

The powerful flyweight stated the he wanted to unify the titles at 112 lbs before moving up in weight, and that he is willing to fight any belt-holder:

“I don’t have problem with my weight. I want to unify the belts at 112. If nobody wants to, I’ll do it at a different weight.

"I hope Arce stops running from me. I really want to fight him. I respected him at first, and I liked the way he fought—that’s why I wanted to fight him. But now, he runs, he talks a lot . . . but that’s it.”

According to Gary Shaw, Donaire was unable to attend the post fight press conference, as he had gone to the hospital for a possible dislocated jaw. Shaw also gave his word to Darchinyan that he will, in the near future, allow him to fight in his native Armenia.

    Yeah!!
That post fight comment about fighting Raul Marquez is insane, hes better off fighting Arce his chances are slightly better. Could you imagine if he actaully decided to get in the ring with RMarquez..... His fwocken head would come off from one of Marquezs straight rights.

I hope it happens to, But at what weight? 112 or 115?
Well wherever.... but just make it happen.

He needs to be calling out Lorenzo Parra. And for the record, Marquez would destroy the boy in 2.

Darhinyan should just move up to 115 & try to make the fight with Arce, unless Arce keeps running! None of the other belt holders wanna piece of Vic. I'd love to see him in with Martin Castillo or Alexander Munoz. For the record I think Darchinyan takes Rafael Marquez out in 10!!!

no way he would KO rmarquez
he wont last 4 rounds with him
the guy has no jab, poor defense, all he
    offers his opponents is intimidation
his left aint that hard, just a normal punch
    for bigger opponents
although i admit he has a great chin

I know what your saying Marquez is one of my favourite fighters, but his chin has always been questionable. I feel Darchinyan has the style & tools to exploit Marquez' weaknesses!

If Arce wants to explode onto the bigger scene
and take steps where his countrymen Morales and Barrera
paved the way for his popularity... Then he has to face Darchinyan immediately.

I KNOW THAT WOULD BE INSANE IF DARCHINYAN WOULD JUMP UP IN WEIGHT TO FIGHT A RETIRED 154 LB FIGHTER!!!! I MEAN THAT'S A 42 LB. JUMP HAHAHAHAHA YEA HE WOULD BE SMOKING CRACK IF HE WAS GOING TO FIGHT RAUL MARQUEZ, I MEAN HE'D ALREADY BE ON SOMETHING IF HE WAS THINKING ABOUT FIGHT [glow=blue]RAFAEL MARQUEZ[/glow] AND THAT'S ONLY ONE WEIGHT DIVISION UP, THAT BEING SAID, YEA I THINK THAT JORGE ARCE WOULD RIP DARCHINYAN A NEW ASSHOLE! SO HE REALLY SHOULDN'T BE CALLING HIM A COWARD, JUST REMEMBER HOW BADLY PACHECO HAD HIM HURT BEFORE THE FIREWORK DISPLAY (NOT THE ONES FROM THE FIGHT) STARTED

Rafael Marquez is 2 divisions higher, same weight that Pacheco is fighting at now. Vic destroys Arce & knocks him clean out within 5. As for Marquez I'd favour Vic in that one too. Martin Castillo or Alexander Munoz would cause Darchinyan the most difficulty.

i think all, Arce, R.Marquez, Pacheco (in a rematch), and M. Castillo would beat him just cause they all have better boxing ability, Arce throws a wider variety of punches and throws them in punches, Darchinyan throws one huge haymaker at a time, he's actually not that hard to beat, just counter or time him, all of the following would be able to

We'll have to agree to disagree Ace, I feel Vic puches harder & is more skilled than Arce. As to not that hard to beat name one guy whose been able to do it? Darchinyan/ Arce needs to be made it is just such a great fans fight!!!

it's the only BIG fight that can maybe bring some much needed attention to the very lower weight classes
