    Default Average wrap length

Ive had a couple of pairs of wraps now, but funnily enough they all seem to be at different lengths. My first pair were 2.5 metres, short i know, i quickly had to replace them with longer ones to save my knuckles. Then my second pair were 3.5 metres. again, when my punches grew stronger i thought id buy some longer ones. Now ive got a pair of 5 metre ones, that seem pretty long compared. Just wondering what you lot have got.
Btw mine are all stretch material mexican style wraps.

for me i like great padding all over... mainly wrist and especially knuckles , the knuckles are always thick..
i have no idea about lengths but if they are mexican style wraps which i personally love then the longer the better imo! if they are hard and cotton like .. such as some lonsdale ones i had a fair while back.. then they should be of a fair size and not far too long...
but with mexicans they are alot better and stretch nicely etc, also if you find them too long and you like knuckle padding you should try wrapping inbetween your fingers and round you knuckles make it really padded!!.. i personally have some stretchy bbe wraps and they are pretty smooth!
    Fuckin reek though!! man musk

I have some cotton 3.5 metres but then purchased some 5m MTG pro elasticated ones and they are the best Ive ever had.

The elastication allows the wraps to really grip your hands and leaves plenty for the knuckles.

Id say 5m are the best and the elasticated ones are an absolute must IMO.

cc andy!! lol you stated what i forgot to say!! one of the most if not the most important thing for handwraps is that they are elastic and give a bit of way for swelling of knuckles hand wrist whatever it might be, its certainly not good to have your wraps keeping any injury from swelling.. it would just cause more pain and more irritation to an injury!
    first cc well earned!!

Ha thats what ive just bought. 5m MTG pro...black.
My previous were Title 3.5. Still using em actually for now. Although my knuckles are hurt at the mo.
I just keep seeing these people who hit twice as hard as me using thinner gloves and less wraps, and wonder how they do it.
