What software you recomend for sofware editing.? what I want to edit is on a DVD usually I use Nero but it's freez my PC when I try to edit video exxtracting it from a dVD(home dvd) so what you guys recomend?

Dude. I have tried so many different types of software for this subject it's not even funny. I too am having issues while ripping.
I am upgrading my pc and adding more memory because my computer also freezes while editing and working with programs to make my own movies.
Right now I only have 512 MB of RAM but I just ordered 2 sticks of dynomite and I will have 2 GIGS of RAM sometime this week and I am hoping that this solves some of my problems and I think it should.

How much RAM does your PC have?

Not to sound like a right geek... but the P2 didn't go up to 500mhz... (I think) my uncle gave me my first decent PC and it had a 500mhz P3....

Its like a time bomb waiting to go off, particularly when Im running Word AND windows media player.

On a serious note Ive no complaints with DVDshrink, for straight forward DVD backups or partial backups it does the trick just fine. I always look here when I need answers to video problems www.dvdrhelp.com

Well guys I have 1 gig of memory with a 3.2 P4 CPU and also I have a SATA HDD but I just don't know WTF is Nero freezing I just want to get some thigs I recorded from my Tivo to my DVD recorder to then pass it to the computer O then pass it to youtube so I can share all my stuff with my Saddo's buddies

Have you thought about upgrading your processsor and memory and hard drive?

Do you have nero 6 or nero 7?
I have heard people complaining about nero 7 which I have never used.
I am assuming you have the hardware to make videos from Tvo to your DVD player?
I dont know shit about tvo.
Assuming you have that part taken care of. I am also assuming you have DVD burner on your pc?
