Roman Aramian is out of his challenge for Gary Lockett's WBU middleweight title due to a viral infection.
Cwmbran-man Lockett, 29, will now face Ghanaian Ayittey Powers at the Newport Sports Centre on Saturday.
Powers cannot comply with the British Board of Control's rules on weight checks, so it will be a non-title bout.
That means Bradley Pryce's Commonwealth light middleweight title defence against Andrew Facey will now be the headline event.
