Welshman Bradley Pryce retained his Commonwealth light middleweight title with a unanimous points victory over Andrew Facey in Newport on Saturday.
Pryce was scored 117-113 117-112 116-112 by the three judges after a strong comeback in the latter stages.
Facey opened well and pinned his man in a corner for a spell in the fourth round but did not keep the initiative.
Pryce landed a crushing right late in the eighth and took control in the final three rounds.
"I love being in a war like that. It was a good win," said Pryce.
"There was a lot of pressure on me, and he caught me a good shot (in the middle of the fight) but I knew I would come strong in the end."
Gary Lockett fights Ghanaian Ayittey Powers on the undercard, but it will not be for the Welshman's WBU middleweight belt.
