LONDON (AFP) - Britain's Ricky Hatton is set to make his Las Vegas debut on January 20 when he challenges Juan Urango for his old International Boxing Federation (IBF) light-welterweight title at the city's Paris hotel.
Victory for Hatton over the unbeaten Colombian would see him reclaim the title he won when beating Russian-born Australian Kosta Tszyu in June last year.
Hatton was forced to give up his last light-welterweight title after moving up a division to successfully claim the World Boxing Association (WBA) welterweight title over Luis Collazo in Boston in May.

Hatton will have an extra incentive to beat Urango, with former lightweight star Jose Luis Castillo scheduled to appear on the same card with a view to a showdown later in 2007.
Prior to his trip to Boston, Hatton had fought in the United States three times, with wins in Detroit in 2000, New York's Madison Square Garden in 1997, and Atlantic City in 1998.
