    Default jmm awfull?

u guys really think jmm has look good since the pac fight? I think it had some affect on him. he has been trying to brawl too much now. not like before he dominates easily but since he survive the pac fight he lost to chris john his face has been a mess against the thialand southpaw and recently butted and cut accidently by jaca...he ate a bunch of lefts from that thai fighter he can let that happed against pac realisticly...he really has more problems with southpaws he has been fighting southpaws recently maybe to prepare against pac...but the problem is his been trying to brawl...yea he ends up k.oing the past two oppenent...but pacs power has arrive in 130 and all his speed specially pacs chin is outstanding...jmm hasn't even fought in 130 pac has already adjusted...I don't think jmm has a chance being real plus his slower now I guess that's way he doesn't counter much anymore...his 33 now jmm has fought nuon compare to who pac has fought since jmm pac fight...I can't see jmm lasting 6 rounds with pac and pac has already drop him 3 times it`ll be worst jmm comes up to 130.pac jst too much for him now honestly and that from a jmm fan.

what yall really think be honestly even though he k.oed last two oppenents his face has been a mess and that's not the jmm we know. plus last oppenents aren't so good honestly a unknown thai doode and 23 year old jaca before he fights pac he should get mab maybe to see how he is at 130.

realisticly jmm has fought nobody and pacs been improving so much since they last met...plus jmm is moving up jst nothing I see jmm doing to last 6 rounds with pac now.pac now 27 jmm 33...pac young but he was very young since pac jmm 1...improve is what pac does jmm don't look any better he jst brawl more and that's suicide against pac.

I've had that suspicion too. It was a grueling fight for him. Maybe? It's not out of the question.

It's confusing me too as to why Marquez is starting to trade now when he's 33. Had he done this long ago, he could have fine tuned his accuracy and timing at attacking. Instead of a 100% defensive mentality.

Maybe I'm wrong here. I never liked a fighter without killer instinct. But now Marquez "has it" and it's "too late."

CC though man. Good Post and Topic.

I also just had to add that...
If you were to ask my Honest Opinion Right Now and say
"Yes or No" has JMM lost something since Pac fight...... I'd say "Yes."
Can anyone else answer that also?

I don't think it's a good thread, because firstly,he has not looked awful and,2 kos over tough opponents and a robbery in Indonesia from which John refuses to come stateside and give a rematch because he knows he will lose is hardly bad. JMM has been opening up in these fights because he wants to create a buzz and because he thinks/knows can take the other guys power. I prefer too see him KO guys like Jaca and Jandeang than fight for UD's....

I think he is slower with his movement BUT his handspeed and combos are awesome,I mean really eye catching and he has great power too, look at his kos. You have to be realistic,he would not fight Pac the way he fought his last opponents, and regardless of all his improvements,JMM still has that counter attacking style to frustrate Manny and as evidenced in their first fight, has the power to hurt Pac(shook him on numerous occasions). Pac would be favourite though!

I want to see JMM v MAB though!!!!!! Like reallllllllllllllllllly badly!

on the onehand I would like to see them fight, they should fight! But I think it would make horrible tv. Both would approach it technically.

Well,I really like technical fights and second,I'm hoping that their Mexican machismo comes into play, and ok,it'll start off jabbing and moving but JMM will land hard shots to wake MAB up,MAB will get annoyed, stand toe to toe and from round 6 or 7 onwards,THEY GO TO WAR!!! JMM UD ot tko 11!

yea he lost his boxer first approach maybe...its the opposite of mab...or maybe he knows his a step slower now and is just willing to trade and put on a good show to earn that $$ while he last longer...seriously pac makes everyone age faster...jmm change since pac fight...or maybe because he got rob by chris john so he jst wants k.os to be sure but his last 2 oppenent are not close to elite levels but still he was different in that fight with chris john too not the dominant counter puncher his always been...

it could be the green his after to retire soon he is 33 and why jst now want the rematch when he was offer multi millions right after the first fight with pac...yall notice that too? well when a great boxer closes to retirement this is what happens get biggest pay day with biggest attraction of the sport...jmm prolly jst want to lay it all hang out now...trading is not his game but to get the green you do what u have to...

    Hillarious.

I know everyone has an opinion...but instead of the ole saying "You can't satisfy all of the people all of the time...", with boxing lately it should be "You can't satisfy any of the people any of the time...".

    This is getting ridiculous.

Marquez's fight this weekend was beautiful. He faced two headbutts, a bad cut, put on a boxing show, & also KO'd his man & people complain?

Oh well. I agree with El Gamo's statement above 100%.

Agreed my man, that's 1 thing I missed out,JMM showed great heart and determination in the performance too and again,I agree, peeps are being far too critical here,I'd rather see him blow the guy out than play safe for a UD!

Good man. I like a good one-two to the face now and then. cc

We'll just have to see. Hopefully JMM can FINALLY get a fight worthy of his caliber soon, be it Marco or Manny.

If you remember the reason JMM didn't get the rematch with Pac, it was because he (JMM) wanted too much money. The promoters said he priced himself out of the fight, and they made the fight with Morales. All 3 of the fights with Pac and EM made more money than ANY fight JMM has had. I am quite sure that he is trying to make his fights more exciting. The two reasons he hasn't been popular are bad promoters, and technical style. He's got a new promoter, and ODH is telling him to get some ko's and have some exciting fights so he can get the big paydays.

You are probably correct about the Oscar parrt but you are incorrect about JMM pricing himself out......I posted the article myself where Manny acknowledged that a rematch with JMM was hard to make due to lots of problems,NIETHER of them was being offered enough money...I'll try to fiond the article again,I posted it a few months ago.
