For focus mit work, bag gloves or training gloves?

Whats the difference between Mexican Style gloves and normal?

Anyone tried Ringside's Mexican Style gloves? How are they?

    a. either. your choice, depending on your financial situation. i have two pairs of training gloves... one for bag and mitts, one for sparring.

    b. mexican have less padding over the knuckles

    c. no, but anything by ringside (or title) will be good, especially for the money.

Sorry for reviving an old thread but I have a question regarding the original post and I dont think it deserves a thread of its own.

bag are usually lighter...12oz. Training are more for sparring and usually are 16oz. Other than that, not much that I can see.

Oooh cleto reyes training gloves are sweet, but only if you have a kidney you can part with, and Ol' Lefty has been a good bud. Not sure about the ringside ones, but many of the Mexican styles have padding for added wrist support.
