Dibella really shoots himself in the foot after Taylor fights Junior Middleweight Kassim Ouma
Alright then Jermain, fight Abraham![]()
This might be the one time in history that Dibella said some things that I pretty much agree with.
Never beg a 40 dollar hooker...specially after she's just turned down your mom's credit card!!
basically just a nice way to say "I ain't putting my money bag into the ring with that freakin monster!"

Well...maybe...but he's also got a point about Miranda's record too.Originally Posted by Pantera

Abraham aint the defensive wizard that the Wink is...but he's got a pretty good guard & a half ass jab that did enough to keep him at bay for 12.
Taylor's defense is just to back out & paw his jab out.
Yeah...Miranda blasts Taylor out, IWO.

Lets have Taylor fight Abraham then.
I use to think the same thing, but after watching a couple of there fights recently I think Taylor could hold him off. Miranda is not the most disciplined fighter out there. I think Taylor's jab would cuz him problems. And if Eastman was able to stun Miranda, I think Taylor can as well. I read all this Miranda would blast out Taylor easily talk. Why is that? I was not aware that Taylor's chin was all of a sudden suspect.
It's clear Dibella has lost some confidence in his man.

Dibella's full of shit as usual.
That being said, I'm not quite sure why everybody's going crazy about Miranda NOW. If you were all the way on his bandwagon after the Abraham fight, fine. But I don't get the hype over the Gibbs win. Gibbs was brought in to make Miranda look spectacular on HBO, to get people excited, and I guess it worked. But if you'd seen the Edouard fight, you'd know he was chinny as all hell, and that's why he was brought in to make Miranda look spectacular. Nothing about that fight changed my mind about Miranda in any way, Gibbs looked chinny against an undersized middle without much power, of course Miranda was gonna knock him the fuck out.
I still favor Taylor slightly in a Miranda fight, even after that poor performance in the Ouma fight.
Taylor has good power , and I feel he can keep Miranda honest with his jab. It would be a great match up no doubt, and dangerous as all fowk !![]()
Dibella is full of shit.. Dibella is a little nervous about Miranda cashing out Taylor's ass . its not like Taylor can't be hit. That mutherfucker keeps his left low and backs str8 up , which invites an awkward power puncher like Miranda a chance at cashing that check. .![]()
Why not, Jermain would kill Miranda... He is a far superior athlete, and boxer... and MIranda is overrated... I saw his fight against Howard Easton and I almost choked when I heard he was a up and rising star.
Abraham is still far away from returning to the ring, and even he does, there is no interest here in the USA for him. He will stay hidden in Germany for years and build up a perfect (but questionable) record. He's another Sauerland boy ie: Ottke.Originally Posted by Majesty
It's not a question of who is the better boxer. That is something that hands down belongs to Taylor. The guy is not only the Champ but an Olympic medalist ( many do not understand the skill of amatuer fighting at that level. Many of those guys would give boxing lessons to top pros)....The question is can Taylor handle the onslaught of Miranda. Jermain has never been attacked by a fighter who hits that hard or with that much intensity...That is DiBellas fear..a just one at that

For a short term business stand point, Dibella is smart to stay away from Miranda. Why take the risk with a huge puncher when he can hand pick 1-2 more fights that he knows he can go the distance (ie Mora) and get the win (and keep cashing in). However, I can only believe these will not be exciting fights and Taylor's stock will slowly go down. In the long term he will have to face Miranda (assuming they both keep winning). By then it will be a much bigger and anticipated fight, and most likely big money. So... For Christmas I would like Miranda to KO Green and than Pavlik, and have Taylor beat up a few chumps and by the end of 2007 have a monster fight staged between the two. Now, is there a Santa Claus?Originally Posted by DaxxKahn
