Default Who wins... Manfredo Jr. vs. Green

I watched Green fight on the undercard of Manfredo Spina, live... I have also seen him fight on 4 other occations... He is good but looked lack luster against Jerson Ravelo...

I think Manfredo would out-box him... Green has some good power... But we found Manfredo may have found his niche @ SMW.

I think the drain on losing all the weight was to much for him on the contender. He walks around @ 180-185. 168 looks beter on him

Green by brutal knock out. Manfredo gets up from two first round knock downs only to go down three more times in the second. Leading to his daddy to throw in the towel. I'm still hoping Manfredo destroys Calzaghe, though.

All I can say is................... cc I can always count on you to make me laugh... Honestly, though... VD, did you see the Ravelo fight? Green looked like shit. He doesn't box as well as Manfredo does but granted the power is there

Yeah he didn't look great. But part of it was cuz Ravelo didn't exactly seem eager to fight. He held quite a bit. But I like Green, and I'm expecting big things from him. A lot of people seem to be knocking Green recently. I'm not one of them. I think Green is for real. As for Manfredo? I was just bullshitting you about the 2nd round knock out. But I do think Green will stop him late. Manfredo does seem better at 168. But he's a slow starter and at times seems to be hesitant to let his hands go. I think Green's power would break him down and stop him around the 9th. But I ain't lying when I tell you I'm backing Manfredo against Calzaghe. I hope he goes into Joe's house and knocks his ass out. First round knock out, too. GO PETER!!!!!!!!!!! BUT GO GREEN AGAINST MANFREDO. CC

I bet you feel like you're gonna throw up sayin "GO PETER"... I know you, kid!  But yes...  I have to say I agree with you about the Ravelo fight...  I had all his boys sitting next to me in the front row.  I actually was more excited to see Green then to see my hometown boy Peter...  I also never thought I'd see Green on Manfredo's undercard.  I thought it would have been the other way around.  But anyway he looked like shit...  Due to Ravelo... I've seen him far better then that.

You ever see that comercial where that dude's training and then he gets in the ring with the challenger and the mic comes down from the cieling and KO's em...  Thats what I want to happen to Calzaghe...  But I would love his hand-picking ops to backfire and get flamed but you and I both know thats the biggest longshot in a while.

Bet you'd never thought you'd be rooting for peter...

Anyway...  I just watched Kelly Pavlek obliterate "the carabian king" for his 29th win...  Kid looks good...  I like him.  I've seen him fight only 3 times but he really looks good.

This is the fight that I wish were happening instead of Joe C V Peter, with the winner to get a title shot. It's a great matchup - Green's power v Manfredo's skill. I think Manfredo frustrates Green and surprises him with unexpected power. Manfredo by UD.
