Thread: ouma to spinks= i want my title back

Lets hope the fight comes thru. Ouma's talent and constant pressure fighting should be enuff to beat the Fraud, and possibly TKO him. Hopefully he'll retire afterwards and not ruin any more fighters careers with his running and BS close decisions.

I think Spinks would outbox Ouma

Good matchup for both, I hope it goes through.

For me it's like a coin toss, to see who the winner is. Spinks hasnt conviced/fought well since the 1st Zab fight and Ouma just hasn't been consistant.

Spinks should be able to outclass Rodney Jones, if he has trouble with Jones then Light Middle. ain't his thang and he should take his ass back to Welter. IMO....

Welter would kill Spinks

Judging by the Karmazin fight Light Middle. didn't give him a warm welcome.

I think Ouma and his volume of punches would over whelm Spinks,

Collazo was Hattons first fight at 147 and he beat him. But how did he perform?

Ouma was sick in that fight. But still the only way to beat Ouma is to hurt him. Karmazin was able to do that. He slowed Ouma down. Spinks does not have the power to hurt Ouma. So Ouma will just keep coming. Ouma has excellent stamina. I think he'll stops Spinks late. 10th or 11th round

Hurting Ouma isnt the only way to beat him. Verno Phillips did a pretty good job against him to give him some issues. Spinks is a better boxer and better defensively, I think Spinks would outpoint Ouma

Phillips did okay. But he didn't win. Hell he was almost stopped in the last 2 rounds.

I agree. But I took from that fight that when the Spinks fight here came up that Spinks could outbox Ouma. Spinks is a lot better then Phillips. And Phillips didn't win, no he didnt. But whats his name Branko? He didnt beat Gatti but he gave him enough trouble to dispell any thought that gatti would ever beat mayweather.

Verno gave Ouma enough trouble that wouldn't have me pick Ouma against Spinks. And I love Kassim Ouma, I don't think he'll beat Spinks.

The reason Phillips didn't win was cuz he could never hurt Ouma. Ouma was still throwing over 70 punches in the 10th round. His stamina is outstanding. Spinks stamina is not. Look how he tired at the end against Karmazin and Judah. I was wrong once about Spinks. I picked him to lose against Karmazin. You picked Spinks. Spinks won. And I gave both you credit. But this one is different. Ouma's stamina and volume punching I think would be to much for Spinks. Especially with his stamina being weak.

If Ouma had a little more power he would have finished Verno. He was punch away from doing it.
