CC bro, this got my vote for FOTY, I've posted this on a few threads. It's really sad that it wasn't a more highly publicised bout, this is what blood and guts is all about.
For every story told that divides us, I believe there are a thousand untold that unite us.

Definitely fight of the year, every single round was good. I don't even see a close second to it

Couldnt find the full fight but for those that havent seen Jamie Moore V Matthew Macklin here are highlights and the ninth round. Not quite Sithchatchawel and Moshipour but a war nonetheless.

Have this fight on the comp on DVD but it always freezes. Guess I have to write it to DVD. I've heard about this FOREVER, but still never seen it. Internet to slow to watch the youtube to. Damn...I'm really sick of hearing about it without seeing it.

I was at this fight (you can even see me on tv although not on these 2 videos) and it was such a brutal encounter, and pure heart was shown by both fighters, I think they could both be world champs, moore deserves a shot this year, at 154 I think he could make a splash, Macklin would beat Duddy at 140 IMO, there was some noise about that fight and they should definatly make it, being that they are both irishmen, it would sell like hot cakes.
Remember the good old days, we miss you Marco!

Honestly...it reminds me of the Ward Gatti I fight...for some reason...I aint that impressed. Strike me down...because I know everyone else loves it. I guess it's just me.

I was. They both showed great heart in that fight. And neither wanted to back down. But that's just me. You go ahead and stick to your Chris Byrd-DaVarryl Williamson type fights.

I think you sum it pretty good with that comparison .. what these blokes lack in the defensive skills they make up for in heart and determination factor. I enjoy a good slugfest I must confess !

yo Wacko you didn’t like Ward Gatti I ? a technical thinking type fight it was not, but you have to enjoy it for what it was . know what I mean ? A give and take war between 2 guys on the same level.. that’s what makes a good fight in my opinion. 2 fighters on the same level fighting each other. excellent match making I think
