Default What if Vitaly didn't retire????

Well hats off to Peter last night...We now have Maskaev, Wladamir Klitschko, Valuev and Briggs ..As our title holders.....

Love Lennox Lewis or hate him...Say what you want about his two losses and his jaw being weak. As Champion there was no doubt on who was in charge....He struggled with Vitaly and retired after knowing that it was time. I respect him for that.

Vitaly took over and it seemed as though he was going to keep law and order. IMO he would have kept law and order. He was big, strong, had a great chin and was improving.....What if he had never retired due to nagging injurys and problems in his homeland?...Anyone think he would still be on top?..Or would the division still be in dis-array?

If vitali didnt retire the division would be in better shape but the fan base in america would be the same.

I think he would but in control and that would put Wlad in a difficult situation. In fact it could be a bit boring because obviously there could not be a unification. I do feel Vitali would safely be in control and would beat the beast and anyone else. I know he is retierd because of injury but because he is gone it does open the heavies up a bit.

There would be a unified champ in vitali. In fact he was ring belt champion at the time.

....Don King wouldn't let ANY of his fighters near Vitali.

Which in my opinion is the only reason Wladimir Klitschko and Sam Peter aren't fighting for the unified title

I think Don King would have kept putting up fighters against Vitali to finally get that belt from him

division would be in worse shape right now I think

Vitali wouldv'e destroyed Rahman, then Byrd, then Brewster, & then probably Toney.

Whoever was left by the wayside woulda gotten their asses handed to them.

HE WOULD STILL BE THE DOMINANT HEAVYWEIGHT TODAY. no one(current), and i mean no one, has the skill to hold his water bottle, nevermind beat him.

vitali would beat any HW on the planet. peter, toney, valuev, byrd, briggs, none of these guys would have a chance. if the klitschko bros ever forgot they were related, vitali would KO wlad too. he was (and still is) the best HW there is.
