Thread: If Valuev beats McCline who does he fight next?

I honestly LOVE thinking about this...what bum is Valuev going to fight next? What poor bastard is Don King going to pull out of the crack of his ass to make a mandatory

Here's my top 10 for guys Valuev would be WILLING to fight
1. Evander Holyfield...old and still a name maybe to add some validity to Valuev's record
2. John Ruiz...this guy gets title shots like no one else I know
3. Andrew Golota...he's been dug up before he's still a little dangerous though
4. Fres Oquendo...weak, no power, less speed than before
5. Sinan Samil Sam...useless and easy to beat
6. Kirk Johnson....poor fat bastard....tore his knee up and has just floundered in the division
7. Dominick Guinn....no heart but still a name....somewhat
8. Juan Carlos Gomez....long layoff and a true cruiserweight....we may have a winner!!!
9. Michael Moorer....OLD and FATand a former champion
10. Sergei Lyakhovich....former champ, had a HORRIBLE fight vs Briggs...has little power

So who will it be

Valuev says he wants to match Rocky's record and then crush it.....hell if he keeps it up he could fight every bum on the face of the earth!

Probably Fernando Vargas going by the pics on the other thread! :P

i wouldnt mind seeing him fight liakovich...i think it would be a step up from beck/barrett/mccline

MCcline isnt a mandatory..Hes voluntary..

Ruslan Chagaev is his next mandatory...
Ive not checked the guy..But there was a fair bit of hype about him a while back..
Ive not been to sure since i heard he got a split over ruiz though...
I think he needed a ud at least to impress...But then again..
Valuev i feel got a bit of a europian decision over ruiz..And is this ruslan cat beat ruiz..Then i hope he takes this bum beating attempting record beater to school..

i dunno if he would fight ruiz unless he had to, ruiz beat him in their first fight.

However, if he wants to be a true champ he should fight someone from this this list:

1. Klitschko
2. Brock
3. Peter
4. Briggs
5. McCall
6. Ray Austin
7. Tony Thompson
8. Liakhovich

I wanto see the big guy go down, hard.

I would say instead of Thompson and Austin he would have to face: Audley Harrison providing A-Force keeps at his game or Alexander Povetkin....from what I have heard he's a BAD MOTHER hush yo mouth!

Also a fight with Corrie Sanders would be a BIG no-no if Valuev's chin is bad enough to be checked by Monte Barrett

His chin got checked by Barret...& it passed the test...here again though...it's been checked by forty some odd others...& you pick Barrett to focus on?

If he were to beat Sanders...I have a feeling that someone would be a bit devastated...& I aint talkin about Wlad either.

Barrett ain't exactly the best power puncher out there just in case you haven't noticed.....Valuev will fall once he fights a live body.

McCline may just be able to pull out an upset

actually shannon briggs has lost by mcline, I think people are gona be shocked out of this outcome

Well...Ruslan Chagaev won the WBA Heavyweight Title Eliminator against Ruiz with
117-111 114-115 116-112...I've seen the fight and 116-112 for Chagaev was pretty
realistic, I don't know what the judge has seen,who scored 114-115 for Ruiz,but thats
boxing...opinions tend to differ...
But if Valuev beats McCline Chagaev should be his next opponent...
The thing is that Chagaev ain't that tall(185 cm),so I don't know how easy or hard it will
be to get close enough to Valuev...BTW Valuev sat in the audience and watched the fight
closely...
But first will be McCline,then we will see...

Valuev will beat McCline because he can take a much better shot than McCline and he actually throws more punches than him and also has better stamina.I see Valuev fighting someone like Byrd,Toney or Rahman, someone who has been around for a while.
