Nice article, not quite up to date now though, the limit for 10oz gloves is now 135lbs, which sucks IMO, they are too big for that weight class, it affects the abiltity to get a body shot in.

Thomas Hauser is one of the best boxing journalists in the business, anything by him is a good read and this is no exception.

One of my favorite things about this forum is that people are interested in all aspects of the sport . not just reckless fan rooting and rawing! Excellent educated fan base on this site ! ! !

cc lords, good stuff! It's funny how HUGE a deal some fighters will make about gloves, like the article said it's not the gloves that hit a man it's the fighter!

And I definitely agree with this statement:

Haha, that is soo true. I wish every woman walked around topless wearing tight red trunks and red gloves. It would be a dream world.

Reminds me of the big ass deal that Naz made over him getting 'Goat Skin' gloves.....

He said because your opponent feels it more, theres nothing better then hitting your opponent with these gloves......

Also remember the whole ordeal/mess that happened as they let the fighters choose golves Naz wanted the pair that MAB had picked out, he said he changed his mind cause he wanted to KO, MAB with his own 'weapon' meaning the gloves......

We all know how well all those things turned out for him........
