I'm having a case of deja vu. Isn't this the same thing Floyd Mayweather was saying that had people calling him a fraud? And since Floyd's response made Margarito "the most feared man in boxing" is that title now passed to Paul Williams?

Yeah, Tony is bigger than his britches right now. Who is Paul Williams?!?! Who the hell is Antonio Margarito

Granted, Tony's opposition has been slighty better than Williams but Tony is still a nobody. He's being served up for Cotto and after Cotto gets done with him then Tony can retire because he'll never get another title shot again. What bullshit!!! He's claiming he's still hurt but his promoter came out and said that Tony wasn't gonna fight Williams because he was gonna fight Cotto and that he would relinquish the belt. Bob Arum said that. Dude's talking like he's big shit but anyone in boxing knows the guy is hot garbage.

Do I smell some people jumping ship here or what?

Awesome point, agreed 100%. I think things like this expose certain boxing fans as being grossly biased and generally full of shit.

I don't have a problem with Margarito not fighitng Williams if he fights Cotto because IMO Cotto is the better of the two opponents right now, but if he opted out for some POS then I would be mad at his hypocrisy. However I truly believe Margarito is willing to face opponents... except maybe Williams.
